AMANDA DAY EVENTS HELPS PREVENT WEDDING PLANNING EXHAUSTION.

LET’S FACE IT, EVEN THE MOST ORGANIZED COUPLE CAN HIT THAT WALL.

Wedding management

Are you overwhelmed with planning or do you thrive on lists and making decisions? You likely may not know what you need from a wedding planner (because you’ve never planned a wedding before) or you’re incredibly organized and created a multitab Google sheet to share with all your vendors. Every couple’s vision and wedding needs are unique. My goal is to give you a package option that is adaptable to you. Are you ready to be a guest at your event? Let’s have a meet & greet call to determine your needs!

SERVICES

Why hire an event planner? So you appreciate all the planning stages and live in the moment during the event! You (and your family) can fully savor the celebration while I handle the details and logistics. I'll bring the experience and expertise. Our cohesive relationship will keep your planning organized and (hopefully!) less stressful. When decision fatigue strikes I'm here to offer support, advice, accountability, and a friendly, unbiased view of your unique planning situation.

hi!

GROWING UP IN A TOURISTY BEACH TOWN

on Lake Michigan, I’ve worked in the hospitality and tourism industry since I was fourteen. From cleaning hotel rooms to organizing corporate events for a global audience, I’ve worked in all facets of hospitality. Not to mention, my mother’s love of opening her home to whoever, whenever.

I pursued a bachelor's degree from Grand Valley State University in Hospitality and Tourism Management, which led to a job in Southern California as a Corporate Meeting Planner for one of the largest private companies in America. I eventually moved back to the Midwest to help launch a collaborative design hub in Grand Rapids, MI. Relocating to the West Coast and eventually the PNW for love I took a break from events for a few years.

An attempt to work for a local wedding venue in 2018 led to the beginning of Amanda Day Events. Launching a business was unexpected but it has became a dream gig.

While my education in Event Management and professional background in Corporate Event Planning allow me to plan events with a significant degree of confidence, I never thought I’d be a wedding planner. Alas, after planning over 100 weddings since 2018 and working at over 35 venues I can confidently say my passion for gathering people and events has created an expert in impeccable logistics and flawless execution.

My coordination style isn’t fancy or formal but calm and collected. My favorite part of this journey is eliminating stress and guiding my couples through the process that ends with the party of a lifetime.
